What is the difference between starting in Semester 1 or Semester 2?

Published 30/01/2008 03.33 PM   |    Updated 08/02/2018 09.26 AM

If you were to start in semester one, you would be starting the course in February. If you were to start in semester two, you would be starting the course in July. The course structure and duration may be affected if you commence in semester two.

Although most courses offered at Curtin are available in semester one, not all courses offered are available for the semester two intake. Some courses also require prerequisite units to be completed first before being able to continue further into the degree. These units may only be offered in semester one therefore, you will not be able to start in semester two.
