I am a parent. Can I help my child with their application?

Yes. While we encourage future students to develop their independence, we recognise that you are a very important part of your child's life, and together we can help each student achieve his or her goals. We understand your concern for their welfare begins with the basic things in life and extends to studying and living in a student-centred environment. You want to know that they are going to fit in and be happy. But ultimately you want to know that your child has made the right choice of course, career and university.

Your child is making an important transition into a whole new world where they will be making decisions for themselves. At Curtin, we encourage this independence however we also provide all the support services they will need to make this transition a whole lot easier.

While you are able to help your child complete their application, you should be aware that, due to privacy legislation, we cannot answer your queries about your child's application, admission and enrolment at Curtin. Your child should contact us personally with any enquires unless your child completes a Disclosure of Information and Proxy Authorisation form for you to act on their behalf.
